In the state of Wisconsin, Alberto has interpreted in over 15 counties in courtrooms, detention centers, in prisons, and at attorneys offices. For immigration courts, he has experience working in the state of Illinois (in Chicago) as a contractor taking in asylum hearings, bonds, deportation hearings, general roll calls and others.
Healthcare providers in the state of Wisconsin hire agency interpreters to work in their facilities and Alberto worked in ER rooms, clinics, operating rooms, PT/OT therapy sessions, home visits, AODA assessments, Independent Medical Evaluations (IME), etc.
For the past 5 years, Alberto has also been interpreting in schools doing IEP's, PT conferences, student hearings, coordinating interpreter events for several languages, school board meetings and interpreting in front of large audiences at conferences.

Born in Lima, Peru, Alberto started his career as a medical Spanish <> English interpreter in 1995 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He has gone through Medical interpreter training for trainers and has prepared over 500 medical interpreters for International Languages since its inception.
Alberto has been interpreting as a certified Wisconsin state court interpreter for 16 years and for Immigration Court for two years. He has attended over 10 ATA (American Translators Association) conferences and participated in many in-state interpreter conferences both as a panelist and as a member.
